It's not every year you get to celebrate the end of a decade and the start of a new one. My very insightful sweetheart broke it down into everything he had accomplished in the last 10 years...and holy smokes, he was a busy young fella just growing up and all into an adult. So I thought I'd present my list of what I've accomplished in the last decade. Talk about a confidence booster.
-Graduated high school (with honours)
-Learned to drive
-Graduated after four years of college
-Worked six different jobs (not at the same time)
-Paid off student loans
-Bought my first car
-Met some wonderful, like-minded people at my first professional job
-Discovered a love for bowling, baking, yoga and sewing
-Wrote half a novel in a month (NaNoWriMo)
-Travelled to London (twice, by myself)
-Travelled to Calgary, Vancouver, Golden, Victoria, Penticton and Memphis
-Published my first feature
-Played two seasons of floor hockey
-Ran in the Run to End Breast Cancer
There was other stuff too, I'm sure, but these come to mind. What have you done in the last 10 years?
